I hope you didn't buy MY Olympic White American Std. w/ maple neck! :?

I've been playing one just about every weekend when my son (ilovefender!) wants to go to Guitar Center.

I can tell I'm addicted to Fender because I notice Fender guitars and amps in movies and TV shows that I never knew about before!

I went back to Guitar Center two days later to buy strings and there was another Olympic White American Standard with maple fretboard on the wall where mine had been. GC must know about us Oly White/Maple addicts.

Sweet Guitar and Amp!

I've never tried the 15" Twins, but I have four of the 2x12" Twins from the early Silverface era, three Strats, and a Tele dlx.

hmmmm....I winder if I'm addicted to Fender?

I had never tried a 15" Twin until about a month ago. The amp I bought was marked down to $999 and I was tempted. Then they knocked another $100 off and I was a goner. :)

Hey, I upgraded to the Twin 15 AND got the Hot Rod out of my life for under $700. That's a double win.

Nice gear, but I hope you still have a house to play it in after not paying your property tax and insurance.

My taxes and insurance premiums will get paid... just not out of my home improvement fund.

Then, when I figure out how much money just went flying out the door, I can plug in, sit back and play some Blues with an excellent new guitar and amp combo. I call it guitar therapy. :)

I'm totally with you on the purchase. That guitar and amp will be with you the next 30 years. Great investment. I am certain you've got some TONE with those toys.

Ouch is right! My reroofing job ended up costing $13,200 but I set aside 20k just in case. That was a screaming deal for replacing much of a 43 year old Arizona sun baked roof. That's why I bought the new Strat and amp... I was rewarding myself for picking the right contractor... I'm not really a Fender addict, am I? No, I am. I was so impressed with the 2008 American Standard Strat that I bought a 3 tone Sunburst American Standard Tele to keep it company.

But hey, I did beat the price increase and I have enough money left to get the house painted and to pay some bills. Put me down as a happy Fender addict. :)

I cant wait to see what he gets once he pays all his taxes, surely he left himself some wiggle room in the budget ;)

Strat addicts are always great economists, historically speaking from experience!

I always had money left from student loans to drag something home from time to time!!

Nice guitar!! I love white strats too!!!
