You should look for something that lists poly in the recommended uses.

You just soak it for a minute and scrape with a drywall knife.

I used the AirCraft remover to remove paint on a set of BMW 540i heads- it melted through my gloves in about ten seconds so be sure to get a good set so you don't lose your hands in te process!

OOOOH 4 litre ohhhh. Excuse my salivations. We english consider anything bgger than a 2.5 excessive. Ive been looking at rolls 6.75 ltr engines all day considering how to get them into a old vauxhall corsair. or indeed how to ZZ a mid 90's silver spirit.

OOOOO. four litre ooohh v8 oooooh. Excuse me whilst i forget about guitars.

I had a 335 straight6 some years back. Ive never driven a car like it since.

Haha. Excuse the sidebar non guitar people..

The BMW M62B44 is actually a 4.4 litre. An unusual break from their normally very easy to understand nomenclature.

Be careful with that Rolls!! You're not James May, mate. He can afford those things!

Back to guitars!

Hey, really? OK, noted. I'll try to be more international in my terminology in future. The things I've learnt today: pedestrian crossing = crosswalk. T-Cut is not in America ...

I didn't think that T-Cut was in America. I use a 3M brand of what I assume is the same stuff.

Now, I see that my daughter is eating crisps in the loo. And I said, where the heck do you think you are?

Good grief: next she'll be playing soccer - and calling it football! Does she put valves in her guitar amp?

What's happening to the world...!

Cheers - C

Now hold on a minute. What do you know of James May? What on earth is happening on this thread?

Orvilleowner is trying to teach me American references (above) precisely so that you people don't need to know about our stuff. He wants us to speak your language so that you don't have to speak ours.

What's the point of all that effort if you turn out to have heard of the likes of James May? Who else have you heard of? What do you mean by it?

Great Scot: you'll be using Marshall amplifiers next. ...Oh...

 - C

The rolls is a pipedream. Just a good way for a longhaired greasy punk to get one up on his missus's snobby porsche/tvr driving mates. BMW have a longstanding reputation for letting us believe their engines are smaller than they actually are. They label cars more on their idea of how they perform than engine size. The 328 is a 3ltr the 325 a 2.8.
I wonder if theres a market for relic'ing such cars :D

Ceri your right we should continue using terms we all understand. Theres no sense in using strict english from england terms when we can hardly understand eachother from one side of the country to the other. Thankfully our atlantic/pacific friends dont have to hear accents. That would make things impossible.

Hysterical. I live in a place where any given night you'll hear hundreds of different culture's references- I've gotten used to it. I think I got hooked on Clarkson and those other characters around Top Gear Season 5.. Brilliant stuff.

Hey, do you guys remember the episode dedicated to the Stratocaster?

Clarkson has just made the headlines last week by giving a politicaly incorrect but accurate description of gordon brown.

I'm about 30miles south of where he grew up (doncaster). Another quote of his on national TV about where i live that caused outrage locally was, "you have to break the spead limit in lincolnshire, its just so boring'.

My daughter does play soccer, but she doesn't know to call it football, whew!
When she starts guitar (a Hello Kitty number of course), she will use a small solidstate amp.

I didn't know I was teaching or pushing anything! I just pointed out that the gear T-Cut product isn't very well-known in the good old US of A. Did I spell "loo" correctly? And how do you say "schedule" ??? :D
