Thanks, that really helps. I'm a first time Strat owner and didn't know all the short forms. Thanks again.

Nothing personal. Sometimes the redundancy becomes more than obvious. We have very often 'wrung the towel dry' with some of these, which is why you will often find me responding by suggesting conducting a "SEARCH". Some contributors often write lengthy, detailed, and intelligently informed responses whose recreations are nearly impossible.

Oh....and by the way....here's your doctor!! 8)

Doc.

Its certainly a question i've been asked repeatedly for the last 22 years. My usuall reply is 'well its me, soon'.

It does get a bit old after a while. Considering the fact that only a very small percentage of the worlds guitarists have been heard by the music appreciating public answering is near impossible.

Not a stupid question mate. Theres a difference between being stupid and not knowing something. We've all been in the position of having to learn at some time or another.

There's never a "stupid" question. Your seeking out knowledge, which is good. Stupid is spouting off with no info in your brain to back it up. Fortunately we go some cool knowledgeable folks here that are willing to help.
