So rumor has it that a new Strat is under development that will be patterned after the Jim Root tele with some hot EMGs. I saw a video of a Fender employee mention it in an EMG 09 NAMM clip.

Hey, maybe it will have the new "X" series with the single coil tap!!! Anyone have any juicy details?
