What model is EJ playing? I guess it's a Custom Shop job - it's got white binding around the neck and an unusual truss rod access via a diagonal cut through the pick guard. (You have to pause the video to see that.)

Also, am I crazy or have I seen a Strat with the bridge pickup pointing in the opposite diagonal direction, i.e., the lower end forward?

He is playing an Eric Johnson signature strat with a Rosewood Fretboard...
and the 60's reverse strat and the Dick Dale strat both have the bridge pickup angled the "wrong" way.........

I'd say, yes, the bridge pickup is reversed. And that neck is virtually a 'gibson'. I wonder what radius that is? A 12" or 9.5"? Are u crazy? I don't think so.
