I have a Fender vg and the tuneings are fantastic!!!

Led Zeppelin (Jimmy Page),the Rolling Stones, Red hot Chili Peppers,Heart,Paul McCartney...many more tune to "G" tuneing
which the strat "VG" has a knob with "D" "G" "d"(which is Flat tuneing)
and also "B" tuneing ....so it is very easy to change the tuneing on the "VG" with just a turn of the knob...

My question is I think flat tuneing ("d") is better for Blues, am I right?
not shure but I am going to work on it.

Is there anywhere I can get some info on tuneing styles/artist to make
it easier for me?

there is no "flat" tuning on the VG strat but there is Drop D and DADGAD not sure wich one of the D's who stands for what.....

I have one Strat tuned down a half step using a Korg tuner. I enjoy playing some SRV music and find it easier with it tuned down this way.
