trying to get any info on this guitar, all black strat, black headstock,chrome logo, neckplate says corona cali, back of the headstock says limited edition 80 of 250 made, does anybody know what model this is?

Something to hold onto it sounds like. My friend has a similar one in red/red headstock same set up it sounds like. I think it's a 97 or maybe 94 anniversary edition of some sort. I believe it was one of the last models that the post cbs, pre-current Fender owners came up with.

i havnt traded for it yet, its 600 miles away, i have a 99 epiphone silver sparkleburst(great guitar) kinda hard to find, the strat owner ran me down, he needs the silver sparkleburst to complete his collection of 99 sparkles, i paid $350 FOR les paul, he sent several pics of the strat, he has offered to trade even, i cannot find any info on the guitar, headstock is black chrome logo (fender stratocastor) h/s/s texas specials, pickguard is black as well, looks like its got machined designs in it, neck plate says corona cali,back of the headstock says limited edition. 80 of 250 under the clear in a marker, probably a good trade, i just want to make sure its not put put tother from a squire or something funky, if anybody know what this guitar is, i owe you one...thnx

email the serial number to Fender and they will tell you what strat it is...

thats alright, im trying to get the serial # from him, noticed you have a dean evo, ive got one, quilt tigerburst, love it, if you like the lp style guitars, ive got a company building a line of guitars for me, that are mahogany bodied, set neck, mop inlays/or abalone, various finishes, that play /feel as good as my usa lp, that i can sell for under $500 equipped with dincans,emgs, or dimarzios, your choice, also building strat line for me, floyds, gold hardware, similar fender headstock, killer guitars, same on the stats, ive got a lp sample now that smokes! blue quilt top,anyway thanks for your comment on the strat, i want to trade , just want to know what it is..have a great day
