My 89 mij i just aquired has a kalaher tremlo on it does any one else have one. i like it cause it holds the tune better than my onther guitars

i want to know if im the only one

There nice guitars. If you got one with Kahler then you have a MIJ Contemporary. What pickups and controls do you have in it? That way you can tell what model it is.

The guitar is an I series made in alimited run it says made in us on neck heel but says a made in japan on the head stock i thinks some was assembled in us and some in japan

the original owner put a seymour duncan humbucker in the bridge position

Thats not a Contemporary then. The Heavy Metal had a Kahler. The HM does not have a pickguard and said STRAT real big like on the headstock then they made it a smaller Fender Strat logo in the early 90's I would have to see a picture to no what you have.
