these days and whats your fave boards maple or rosewood :D

MY newest strat came stock with 9's ..... my favorite fretboard is rosewood :)

Most come stock from the factory with .9's these days except some of the custom shops.
I immediately switch over to D'Addario 10's, which are my current favorite :)

As for neck I use either, make no difference to me :)
My AM dlx is maple.

I think my 50's Start came with .9's , but I use .10's, and I love the maple fretboard

i simply wanted to know what peoples fave fretboards were, and the string
thing was a question to see if anyone knew what was fitted as standard .

I thought they came with 10,s I change to 11,s and I like rosewood best but my 50s road worn has a maple neck and I do like it.

String guage... I use either 9's or 10's. It depends on my mood. As for fretboards, I don't have a preference. I usually look at the overall style of the guitar first. Then, I pick it up and see if I bond with it.

Not all come with 9s most Iv,e bought come with 10,s. My road worn came with 10,s according to fender under products you can see what comes on them. I hate 9,s.

My new ones have 9s, some of the others have 10s. I play both rosewood and maple, but my favorite is maple.
