Cold Shot by SRV is easy and fun to play. Manic Depression by Hendrix is pretty easy and fun also.

Help! and Daytripper aren't too difficult and quite fun to play.

I have a bunch of songs I like to play. Some of them my own, some of them covers. Learn "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd. Great Beginner song and it is an absolute favorite of mine.

Way too many songs to list here, but lately, I've hooked up with a female singer who wanted to do Linda Ronstadt's version of "You're No Good."
The solo in that song was so George Harrison/Eric Clapton-ish, that it's just fun to play.
I believe it was originally recorded by a guitar player named Eddie Black(RIP).
Getting the sound from my Strats was easy. Dialing in the old Fender Tweed settings on my ADA MP-2, was a tricky thing, but I've got it.

I wonder if that was the guy at guitar center who I threw a Les Paul at when he started his third rendition of Stairway? Les Pauls are good for that sort of thing
