Is there a strat with a floyd rose bridge or would that have to be a custom job?

Well that doesn't matter so long as you get the FR when you buy it. Also does that model come with a maple fretboard because I'm not a fan of rosewood

Its very hard to find the combination of a maple fret board and FR bridge. I don't think I have ever seen a strat like that. I was told, and read somewhere (but of course cant find it now) that the reason for this was the FR tends to be add to the brightness of the sound and with the maple neck (which is usually associated with a bright sound as well) it was just too much. Of course it is early, and I could have dreamt all that up. 8)

I was wondering about that. Was thinking, "did Floyd Rose come out with a Fender like tremolo?"
