nothing but ghs bommers nothing compares in tone or feel and ive tried many other brands

i used those for years back a couple decades ago, but i've been using D'addarrio now for a log time. I thought about trying boomers again but figured i must have switched because i found d'addarrios better. But being so long ago i don't even recall why i switched or what they sound/feel like. Any thoughts on how boomers compare to d'addarrio XL's? I seem to recall boomers being rather bright, (and i really don't need more brightness) but again it's been years.

I switched to Elixir Light gauge strings. Some players may find them too slick, but I like how they feel. Plus they last longer than non-coated strings.

I've tried coated strings, but I just don't like the feel--at least on guitars--they're okay on a bass though.
