Ah, a frequently asked question. I like Ernie Ball's and sometimes Super Bullets.

On all of my guitars except one I use custom made sets made from Dean Markley Flatwounds and Dean Markley Blue Steel. On the other guitar I have a set of Dean Markley Vintage Strings.

Ernie Ball .12's on my Strat tuned to Eb, and D'Addario .11's on everything else.

Presently, I use Super Bullets on my guitars with humbucking pickups ( .09-.42's ).

On my Strats I use DR - High Voltage ( .10-.46's )

When I can't find those, then I use DR - Pure Blues to substitute for either of the above.

On electric guitar, I started with a brand called Mohawk, the strings were made in Germany, and a step up from barbed wire. After winding through a variety of brands I came upon GHS Boomers--and that's my main brand, although sometimes I put Super Bullets on my Mustang.

The last time I tried Ernie Balls, they didn't last long--they felt odd.
