Very true, they were'nt very comfortable on the neck either, but then again, the one that I tried in the music store was'nt set up either and the strings were high enough off the fretboard to shoot arrows off the thing. What I do remember about the neck of that was that it reminded me a lot of the necks on the HM Strats. Sharply rounded at the top and bottom, then flatter at the back of the neck.
If I had ever bought one of those, I would have probably put on a replacement neck just to make it feel better in my hands.

There's a short section in a book called Guitar Stories Vol1, that mentions these guitars and how they came about. They had a notched filter built in, with coil tap switches.
