Hi,

I have a set of Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Microphones that I want to
install on my Fender Stratocaster.

I don't want that S1 switch. Can anyone give me a clue how to
install these. The reason that I ask is that on these microphones there
are three cables to each microphone.

Thanks

TC

Just use the Vintage Noiseless diagram. For what you want just wire them the same as you would regular pickups- If memory serves me correctly they just have an extra ground on the volume, everything else is the same.

Hi cwpainter,

Thanks for the reply.

The middle cable on the microphones are green. Do you meen
that I should connect that one to ground also. As the black one.

Yes, green is an extra ground. Still, see if you can find a Vintage Noiseless diagram. I know that it is the same as that. Just connect everything the way you normally would and put the leftover wire on the volume pot with the other ground leads.

Hi cwpainter,

Thanks again.

Any clue where I can find that kind of diagram because I have gone thru
every diagram on the Fender site and I could not find any.

Ok, I figured it out..

Go here: http://www.fender.com/support/wiring_di ... _lists.php

Scroll down to the American Vintage Hot Rod '57. That guitar uses 2 SCN's and a mini humbucker in the bridge so the diagram should work perfectly as the guitar basically contains 3 humbuckers and no S1.

Good Luck!!
