I have the 2008 Mexican Fat Strat. The second position on the switch (bridge & middle), shuts off one coil on the bridge humbucker for a classic single coil sound. Anyone have a schematic for installing a switch so that I can have the option of switching on the full humbucker in the second position? Your help appreciated... love the Strat!

i would buy a normal 5 way switch than buy a push pull coil tap pot than youll be able to use the humbucker split or normal. there is many wiring diagrams on the web that will show you how to wire it just type in start wiring diagrams (schematics) in your search engine and you should be able to find the right diagram for free

I see my schematic at http://www.guitarelectronics.com/product/WDUHSS5L1102 and I see that this is no simple 5 position switch--which I'm not familiar with. There's got to be a way to use this switch without swapping it out for the normal 5 position. anyone know, is it the the north or the south coil on the humbucker that is active in the 2 position?

Stratocaster Geeetars don't have humbuckers. Use a Gibson for that. ;)
