Greetings my Strat comrades,
I have had the unfortunate luck of my main tube amp malfunctioning and it is currently in the shops for repairs. In the mean time I must still rock and my back up amp is a line 6 spider 3 jam. I am looking for advice on getting a nice overdriven blues tone, a solid rock tone and a lead tone. Is any one familiar with this amp? I thank you all in advance for your help.

Have you checked the Line6 website? Lots of info on amp settings and downloadable presets there.

Other than telling you to play it and mess with the settings until you get "your tone" (whatever that means to you), I don't think there's any magical setting that will make you find what you hear in your head.
