Post subject: Tremelo Problems with my new Eric Johnson Strat

Has anyone had any problems with their EJ Strats, specifically the Tremelo bar. Mine is brand new and where you screw in the tremelo bar the female thread/hole is way off center. The manager at Guitar Center said he tried to fix it but it will have to be sent for warranty bench work. All the user forums, ie HarmonyCentral, say Fender warranty division is horrible. So now I'm scared to death to send it in for fear that I will not see my new beloved guitar...and what a tone monster it is...for 6 months!

If you dont want to go thru Fender you can always order a new callaham block w/bar.

Maybe GC can let you send the bridge only for repair. In the meantime you can install a replacement bridge as suggested above and keep on rockin...
