ok you are a scammer jk

I admit it was somewhat less than honest to let the guy pay that price. But here's the thing. I took it to the shop I frequent to have it checked over, mentioning some things about the neck I didnt like. So he asks if I'm going to keep it. I tell him, if it gets any bites while its hanging there to let me know.

So he calls this morning saying a guy came in yesterday and wanted it. Offered $375! Also keep in mind, neither I or the shop owner misrepresented the guitar or claimed it be something its not. So seeing this as an opportunity to help my favorite local guitar shop I accept. Then give $75 ( +$50 for the new owners set up) to the shop owner/operator, as its obvious money is extremely tight for him. So I actually only walked away with $250 and helped a friend try and keep his business afloat.

So was it less than honest? likely, as I do feel kind of bad about it. Was it a scam? No, the guy had all the accurate information he needed to make an informed purchase. So I'm mostly ok with it.
