The Serial # looks like a 1999 model guitar. Definitely MiM.. Not much to be concerned with. Those MiM's are not bad guitars IMHO. In fact, pretty darned good for the price I'd say.

I got this from the guitardater project site

Your guitar was made at the
Ensenada Plant (Fender), Mexico
in the Year(s): 1999 - 2000

I Dont know if I would pay for it though....

Hello All_thumbs09,

Handsome looking guitar,
at $275 that is about full retail.
Get the hard case,
gigbags only protect from dust.

Best of luck with it.

Cheers.

Its nothing special really. but it has decent bones, so I should be able to make something out of it.

Ha Ha!!! Thanks :D The more I play it the more i'm liking it. Took some super fine steel wool to the neck. It's smooth as silk now. The pups are a lil muddy, but otherwise its in good shape. it will make a perfect daily player.

You got youself a good deal. It looks nice and well careed for. I called a dude who had one on crailslist for 250. and offerd him 200. he told me no deal he wanted the whole 250. and would entertain no offers so you did good with that one.

Thanks cv! The only thing I enjoy more than getting new guitars is beating folks up over price! I take great pride in my negotiating skillz. 8) As far as well cared for goes... not so much. This was the guys gigging guitar, so it has tons of small knicks and dings. However; since I bought it to be a daily player those marks mean little to me. A new set of pups and she's ready to rip! In regards to the pick guard...at first I thought it was a bit cheesey, but its starting to grow on me.
