There is an amp head that I found that's all tube and it has sound clips on the website. It looks like it has both a great clean and distortion, please take a listen and give me some of your feedback on the tone:

Just click on sound samples towards the bottom right.

Hello Blacqdog,

I'm in the same boat with Nikinja,
Your link is too generic and your
post gives us too few clues.
Perhaps more info is in order.

Cheers.

That's weird. I was sure I had the right link. Click on ENGL and then click
on ENGL E335 Screamer. Hopefully this takes you to it.

I've used a screamer and the thunder. Their good amps a little too strongly flavoured to my ear, their tone tends to overwhelm any guitar type. Much like mesa but with their own tone. Good stuff if you like that sound and can incorporate it into everything.
