I have bought a 2001 Strat, said to be a Texas special they were Priced between a std and deluxe and sold from 200o-2003.

It is Surf pearl, a rare color only made in that model in 2001 in the tex specail model. This should have texas special pick ups....i am new at this, how can I confirm this?

I paid $ 770 for the guitar, it is in almost new cond, a few hard to find scrathes. Seems like this is not a run of the mill strat.

Thoughts please.
