I have a vintage 57 and the guitar buzzes like crazy through my mesa dc-3. I'm going to replace the pickups but do I really need to get left handed pickups?

Any suggestions on how to keep that 57 tone and loose the buzz?

No such thing as left or right handed pickups, not that I know of anyway. A pickup is a pickup.

I take it your talking about buzzing as in noisy, not fret buzz? I think those 57 pickups are great, no need to change them.

Try shielding your guitar to lose the noise.

Actually there is. When the pole pieces are staggered they are different.
