HI guitarcraz94...welcome to the Forum!!Man both are good choices.....but i would probably go for the Am Dlx HSS.....

The American Deluxe is a better guitar, but it is also the more expensive of the two. If you can play both and see which one you like better then you can see if the Deluxe is worth the extra money you'll shell out.

Play Both and make your choice from that.

It pays to forget about what it says on the headstock, whether its MIM or MIA, just go for the one you like best.

When i was choosing between a MIM and a MIA i decided to put all bias aside about where the gutar was screwed together and just play.

I agree with the others. You have to play it before you buy it. And make sure that you buy the one you actually play not another one of the same model. Every guitar is unique.

I have a new deluxe strat and its awsome. If it was me i would get the deluxe, it plays amazingly and sounds so nice. But make sure you play them first because theres always one dud somewhere out there.
