Well its 19k pesos. which is about... 400$ or less. Here in the philippines basic fender strats go for about 50 thousand pesos which is 1000$. so its pretty cheap considering im in the philippines. Glad its real. Definitely gonna get this one. thanks for the quick reply.

It looks quite high class for a 93 mexican standard. Nice string tree and tuners. I'd snap it up but would only pay cash on collection.

Hi BlueBerryBlast, welcome to the Forum. Don't worry, it's not usually a Forum where you need to ask people to be gentle. We're mostly a cuddly lot here!

Some people get a bit superstitious about revealing their serial numbers on the internet. If it's a high price vintage instrument perhaps there's some reason for it...

But if the guitar is legit the owner should have no problem with emailing you the serial number so's you can run a check on it at this website:

http://www.guitardaterproject.org/

Mind you, that will prove very little, but it might put your mind at rest over the hidden serial number issue...

Good luck - C

That's a big difference - and is similar to the price difference between Made in America strats versus Made in Mexico strats. Is the 50k peso price for a MIA strat? You need to know the difference. If it's in fact for MIM strats then yes that's a great deal.
