I think the finish is a matter of personal preference which might effect resale values in the future if you resold it

Hello Goracing,

Sure enough that guitar is an eyecatcher.
Made in mexico and came with a high quality
soft case embriodered with the 50th logo.
$600 for a mint guitar and case is about full retail.
Examples that were uncared for, bring about 1/2
without the case. Hope this helps.

Cheers.

Hello Goracing & All,

Here's a photo of the gigbag and guitar.
Midas would have liked one.

Thats a nice strat- Am I right to assume its a 2007 model? i say go for it

I had the option to buy a 2006 anniversary am deluxe when I bought my strat- though I opted for mine as I didnt like maple fretboards and the differences were not great- commemoritive case, cubic zirconium inlay on the headstock- for a $200 difference it wasnt worth it.. though they do become collectible eventually.. Id like to get my hands on a 1994 anniv. with matching painted headstock if i can find one but they are rare as hell, and beginning to get up in price.

As for resale value- hmm. this may be collectible, and may hold resale better than the other classic models- but you would have to look after it and hold it for a fair number of years..

Wow, beautiful. I'd love to refinish my strat with Firemist, but finding a used one is awesome. Go for it! and yes it rocks.
