So.. If I can buy the s-1 switch in an authorized dealer, does anybody knows where ? I was taking a look at the Guitar Center and Musician´s Friend web sites and none of them have it to sell..they have all kinds of knobs and pots but no s-1 switches..

Does anybody have a clue ?

Hi Gustavo. Er, now I'm confused. From your first post I thought you already had the S1 switch?

Anyhow. Belphedeus says he bought his on Ebay - though you could also try asking an Authorised Fender Dealer. They ought to be able to order the part. Look at the parts list on the Support section of this website for the part number.

the quilted maple and the flame maple strats (i just ordered a qmt) come with metal s-1 switches.
maybe you can find one of those, I hate plastic too and was pumped to find that the qmt knobs whee anodized metal
