Well i went today to exchange my ADS sunburst sss for an hss sunburst as well and by the way i went ahead in choosing my wah pedal. A vox.Has anyone own one?
i own a vox AC 30 i think they well pair up beautifully....i hope i already know dunlops and i really like the dime bag but for my budget the vox came out cheaper ,around 80 euros wich will allow me as well to buy the ibanez TS9DX.
So fingers crossed and until next week i´ll be playing acoustic or my lap slide lol.
Thanks and i´m sorry for my bad english.

I have had a Vox 847 wah for about nine years. Very durable and great sounding. It's not the current model (the 847A), so I have to use batteries all the time, but overall, it's a great wah. I don't know if the 847A sounds different though.

I use just a plain old Dunlop Crybaby, but I also have and old Fender Fuzz Wah that I bought in the mid 70's. It's not the one they just reissued, I had one of those too and sold it, it's the big cast aluminum one. The old transistor fuzz in that thing is awesome. The wah's not bad either. I don't use them a lot, so I don't need anything fancy.

I have an old Morley Pro Series Wah. After using it for a while, I didn't think much of it. It didn't seem to have the same range as the one I used back in the early '70s . . . when wahs were new. I put it away for a couple of years. I dragged it out again over the holidays, plugged it in and it sounds great. It does have good range so I'm not sure why my initial reaction was so negative.

I do the same thing. I still have most of my vintage effects. Maybe we got so used to digital effects that now the old analog stuff just sounds more real. Who knows?

Last summer when I needed a wah I looked into many different types (including a Dunlop Wah from the '70s or '80s, which sounded good but had very limited sweep) and I ended up with a Dunlop Crybaby Classic. I didn't really like the Vox, although they aren't bad at all and I wouldn't mind having one.

I used to use an old Colorsound Wah-Wah by SOLA SOUND but it some of the components gave way back then in the mid 90's.Now i either use the Morley Bad Horsie or the DIgitech in-built Wah from the multi-fx

I've got the VOX V848 Clyde McCoy Wah. It's excellent.

I've got my Crybaby Bass wah, and my Morley Bad Horsey. I like the spring assist on it better than the Cry baby, for the control factor.

Another vote for the Crybaby. It was a gift, so I haven't tried any others, but I really dig it.

The Vox reissue Wah is a great choice. I do like the Fender Fuzz wah though ....
