Hi,

This is my 1st post to these forums. I hope I can get some info. Back in the 90's, I owned a US Lonstar Strat. I have since parted with it but I was searching for a nice one used. One thing I can't remember that I would like to know is what type of finish was used on the neck and body back then. I am not talking about the new Lonestars. I am talking about the originals.

Did Fender use Urethen or Nitro on these guitars? Can anyone answer that or point me to some specs?

Thanks

I own a 1997 Lonestar with maple fretboard. I believe the body and neck are urethane. I could be wrong but it doesn't seem like a nitro finish to me.
