If it does it's because I'm lying bleeding in the street and someone just stepped over my dead body...

Ceri-

My grandmother had the word for that guitar -
"Go-Juss"

Sorry if the Polishing Kit was a Red Herring; I guess this is one arena where we take different roads but arrive at the same place.

Glad to see everything came out great.

So, like the rest of us who are always looking for our next guitar; what's the next project?

Cheers.
Shane~

Hey Ceri,
Well, personally I don't really care for the Daphne blue myself...please don't take offense to that, it's just a personal taste thing. Also you need to adjust the white balance on your pictures there...in the one shot it looks more like Lake Placid blue than Daphne. Other than that, it looks like you did a hell of a job...well done and congrats!

Mine's going together Saturday. I have another refinish project I'm working on (something of an experiment) and a home repair (busted bedroom window) to keep my hands busy till then.

Anyways, good job...now play the crap outta that sucker!

L8r,
Jim

I observed as this project was evolving, that the folks in California would be interested in how the problem solving was done. . Some thought the idea humourous :? Craftmen appreciated the art of their colleagues. We ought to definitely steer Mike Eldred to this thread.

Absolutely beautifully done Ceri! Talk about some guitar porn! 8) You are still going to email this entire thread to that low life lying cheater? I wish I could see his reaction when he realizes what a fool you have made him out to be! I'm am really proud of you but I knew it was no hill to climb for a high stepper like you! Congratulations my friend!!!! :D

I think you should have a water slide decal made for the front of the headstock with the word "CERI" Limited Edition
serial number 001
Do your name in some fancy font and the rest in small black letters. On the neck plate have a fancy font "C" and the number 001 engraved!! 8)

Execrable stuff, as it turns out. Purely an ornament.

So you don't use it in a Martini recipe!

Speaking of which, have you tried the James Bond Martini?

Not bad!

Amazing!! I found a place in Brooklyn that makes the Vesper. Over here it's nearly impossible to find a suitable Kina Lillet substitute but this place had it. After 3 or 4 of those I could hardly find my way home (as he sings the Blind Faith tune).
