Hahahaha! That's very good indeed!

Good grief people, this is running away with itself, isn't it? My wife has gone off with the digital camera for the evening: maybe I'll try and find something to photograph tomorrow.

Dunno what, though. I've already posted a picture of all the bits, including bags of screws. What else to you want to see - the strings?

I know, I haven't shown the neck yet. I'll post a picture of a neck tomorrow. You'll not have seen one of those before...

Apparently not enough!

Just cos I promised (though I'm not sure why): here's the neck waiting to go on that bod. Vintage frets, 7 1/2 inch radius, moderately hard V-shape back, honey tinted lacquer, Gotoh vintage style tuners but with the user adjustable staggered poles - therefore, no string tree:

And the back:

So there you are. A neck.

Far as pics of the body drying are concerned: my wife asks whether you'd like a webcam set up, so's you can watch that paint cure in real time...?

See you on this thread in a few weeks when the guitar's put together...

 - C

Now that would make good webcam viewing Fhop. The household sat around the body watching it dry in realtime. Who needs bigbrother?

Ceri,

Cannot wait to see the finished product. Neck and body both look great. Have you decided on pick-guard pick-up color? I would think that White Pearl with Black accessaries would look cool, but I am sure you have your own idea. Like I said cannot wait to see the finished product. RK

Hi RK: thank you very much!

Somewhere around page five of this insanely long thread you will find details and pics of the pickups and other parts.

On the very first post I said this thread would likely involve lots of pictures. I had no idea how seriously people were going to take that!!!

Cheers - C

PS Hop, there actually already are pictures of my cats somewhere on this Forum...!
