I don't really understand how the 6 point trem is mounted. Are the six screws just screwed into the wood? Does anyone have a link or a pick of how this works. I'm sure I'm making it more difficult but I having problems seeing how the screws don't eventually pull out of the body if the trem is used a lot.

Also, I'm wanting to upgrade to a Callaham block. Do you just unscrew the three screws under the saddles to take the old one of?

Each screw is 3 sections. It has a threaded section, a smooth section, and the screw head. The threaded section is screwed into the wood until a portion of the smooth section is left out. The front of the bridge is beveled and moves up and down on this smooth section between the body of the guitar and the head of the screw.
