Hey Bill,
Just to add to your comment, Richie Kotzen is not only a fellow Pensylvanian, but from Bucks County, and the Band Poison, started out as Pretty Poison, and used to play at the TLA on South Street in Philadelphia, very often, as well as playing many Places in Bucks County, as a matter of fact, I believe they Played at LIVE AID in Philly back in the early '80's. Just thought you would like to know. "ROCK ON DUDE". :D

I bought a MIJ beautifully flamed big headstock neck for my Strat project.
Its playability is amazing.

Mmm, couple of nice things on that page. I could fall for a sunburst Tele with a bound body and maple neck.

But hold on, what about the prices? Not only is our Kotzen Strat significantly cheaper on Ebay ($1249 against approx. $1550). Where I live that Marcus Miller bass is less than half the price Ishibashi are charging (they want about $2075). Wow - not always cheaper to shop in Japan!

Cheers - C

Hello Synkronized,

Turns out Richie Kotzen is a Pennsylvanian.
Born about 1970 and back in the early 90's
played with the band Poison, Seems he
is quite well liked over there in Japan.
Uses Marshall amplifiers mostly.

Thats what I know.

Cheers.

I thought Richie Kotzen played Teles

Hi bruno690: I must admit that Richie Kotzen was kinda unknown to me. But I notice the same Ebay seller has Kotzen Sig Teles for sale too.

And that's really why I'm bumping this thread. I belatedly pressed the "view seller's other items" button and discover that he's got a couple of pages of new CIJ guitars for sale. At very attractive prices - and all for a very reasonable $95 international shipping.

Be aware, whereever we are in the world our countries will stick us for a bunch of import tax on top of that. But it still could be a very useful avenue of enquiry for everyone here who's expressed interest in getting their hands on Japanese Fenders.

Who's going to be first?

Cheers - C
