Yes, indeed it is a nice guitar, I am not a fan of gold hardware myself in fact most of the gold hardware guitars I see, on a personal opinion, dont have a really nice color combination as a whole... but this guitar is an exception I liked it from the moment I saw it hehe, everything fits really well and I love the gold bridge with the stamped fender saddles  and then the gold gotoh tuners and the back plate, even the little gold screws everything "fits" :) and those frets ....... I also like the inlays... I don't know who is the guy whose signature guitar that is but the guitar looks like a prize hehe :)

GOSH! I hate myself for it, but the tart in me just wants that immediately! At first I thought he'd flipped his noddle where he talks about a flame maple cap, but no, it's there! Very subtle - how can a Strat with gold hardware be subtle? But that one is!

I don't want to play it - I just want to lick it. That is the Haagen-Dazs white chocolate ice cream Strat!

Gimme gimme!

Cheers - C

That's one sweet guitar. Looks real good. CIJ looks better and better everytime I see one.

Thats one beautiful guitar! Eye catching in a tasteful way. Its hard to go wrong with an MIJ/CIJ Strat.

They make a Strat and a Tele Kotzen Signature model.

Hello Synkronized,

Turns out Richie Kotzen is a Pennsylvanian.
Born about 1970 and back in the early 90's
played with the band Poison, Seems he
is quite well liked over there in Japan.
Uses Marshall amplifiers mostly.

Thats what I know.

Cheers.

I remember seeing that guitar or a similar one recently on eBay (Australia)...I have dim recollections of pictures of Ritchie Kotzen on the cover of Guitar World back in the late '80s or early '90s. Instead of saying "Let them eat cake," Marie Antoinette should have whipped this baby out and melted everybody's faces off...it just has that decadent Louis XIV vibe...heh.
