Hi i just bought a used strat plus. I know that the year is 1997, but despite my best efforts i can't seem to find pictures of one that is same. it is natural with a tortoise pickguard, rosewood fretboard, lace sensors, etc. anyone have the same model? just a little worried that i may have bought one that has been pieced together, though i doubts it.
Cheers

I have a Strat Ultra which is a cousin of the strat plus. Mine has Blue neck Lace sensor, Gold middle LS pickup, and a dually set of Red LS pickups. It also has an ebony neck, 2-point tremelo, and a Wilkinson LSR roller nut. Mine has a 3-way toggle switch that selects the either/both bridge pickups, instead of a push button. That link is good illustration of the Fender strats offered at that time.
