Nice pickguard- I saw a similar one on a guitar that Ritchie Sambora played- it was his old Black Paisley F/R signature, I think it was either a special run model or a custom shop.. havent seen anything like it since untill now- love those fat headstocks- im very jealous!! lol :wink:

The pickguard is a Black/Silver Paisley that I put on it.

I have never been a big fan of playing guitars with maple fretboards. A few months ago I got the urge to find one. I am a big fan of mid 80's MIJ Strats and when I found this one I just had to have it. The first time I played this one I knew it was the one.

I have an '86 MIJ Strat, also. It's the Contemporary model not one of the reissues. I'm the original owner.
