Just bought a new American Standard Strat. today(Candy Cola with a rosewood fretboard). When I get it under certain types of light it changes to purple. How cool is that? Kudos to Fender for a great color!!!

Congrats strat-brat enjoy your new guitar. Candy Cola is a nice finish what you are seeing is the reason it is called a Candy, They along with Pearl finishes will give a deep and changing color apparence in different lights and angles. Candy Green is one of my Favorites

Nice one- I love those candy colours!!! Id love a candy green too- perhaps with a '70's fat headstock, slightly flamed neck with a RW board- loaded with either a black pearl or cream pearl guard with SCN and an S1 switch... maybe some intricate discrete pinstriping to add my own touch :)

I had the same with my guitar, I thought in the frontline magazine c.tangerine was ugly untill I saw it in the flesh- and I loved it!! the colour changes from a light met. red to a deep orange. I just had to buy it- I couldnt help myself. I have only seen two other guitars in that colour- a 60th anniv deluxe and a J-bass.. Id like to see your guitar, let us have a peek!! :)

Several of the colors "change". I have an Inca Silver Strat that runs from silver to metallic green to a grayish pewter color depending on the light.
