When did the American Stnadrad switch from 2 to 1 string tree. I have sen what is claimed to be an 2004 model with 2??

Hi, yes the American standard does have one tree.
Mine has one and is a 2000 model.

I have seen them with just one tree for a few years. In 2004 I was not in the market for Fender and did not pay attention back then to them. I did not decide on a New Fender guitar until 2006. At that point the American Standard had just 1.
