The welsh flag is on there. :D

Anyone ever play the old days of communism russian electrics with the xlr jack socket?

Bet that would put a few things in perspective. In a lot of ways were spoilt for quality electric guitars for not much money. If you look at a old burns or watkins from the 60's, when they go bad theres no middleground. Their good one month then firewood the month after. I suspect a decent amount of early 50's fenders went the same way. The guitars evolution after all was a learning process.

The red diagonal lines? Dont they represent Wales? Their not part of the George cross or the Scottish flag.

Uh-oh! This is going to get bloody - and to everyone else around the world, utterly incomprehensible...

I think a Welsh dragon Strat would look extremely cool. From an Englishman with a Welsh name - will that do you, mantais?

I'm going no further on this one... 'Cept to observe, unless it's on a ship that Strat is painted with a Union Flag, not a Union Jack. How's that for an inane piece of information?

Cheers - C

Which, the flag/jack bit? It's called a jack if it's on a ship. Otherwise it's a flag. Banal, huh?

Stick the Cross of St George on a boat, it becomes the English Jack. Same with a Welsh dragon, Cross of St Andrew, whatever. I have no idea if that is just a British thing or if it applies around the world.

Anyhow, here's a Welsh flag, for those who've not seen it. By the standards of national flags, a rather nice one, wouldn't you say? A Strat painted up with that would look pretty decent, I think...

I would entertain the idea of owning a UK made acoustic guitar.

However, as a former MG Midget owner, I would have to pass on anything with electronics in it.
