Hi,

SRV's Lenny is a great song. Just play the first two or three accords and you are certainly going to feel it. Neck and middle pickups together for this one. Welcome and have a great time with her !!!
Greetings from Greece...

Ok, so I am excited. I picked up an amazing mim candy apple(?) strat today. 04 model and super cheap.

Now I just have to learn how to play it since it is my first strat.
All I have ever owned for 15 years has been humbuckers.
It may take me a while to learn how to not make it sound like poop. lol.

I am working on SRV classic "pride and joy". Any other suggestions for learning "strat songs".

Thanks guys

Lemme guess. You bought it off Craigslist from someone in Huntington Beach for $100? I saw that guitar up there 10 minutes after it was posted but didnt have freaking $100...i was  pissed haha.

You guys are great. I have already done cliff of dover and pride and joy.
I am definitely getting the vibe on here that I should learn some Clapton.
I will make that a priority now.

Thanks for the suggestions.
