OK, I found several Fender "Deluxe" locking tremolo's on eB**. As far as I can see, they don't require routing on the trem. part, but I'm not so sure about the locking nut. I've heard that Fender did make a locking trem that required no routing. Would this be it?

Ive still got a fender take on the floyd trem. I had it on a explorer i built years ago. If the 2 point trem of the deluxe is the same as my custom classic then its not a direct replacement. Its a good system, the roller saddles outperform floyd systems. But it wont even drop directly onto a floyded guitar. The routing is ok, its the posts that are wrong. To make matters worse their not wrong by miles, its millimeters. Which makes for a dowel then carefully redrill job.
