Hey everyone,

Recently ordered a replacement pickguard from Guitar Center for my strat. Ordered a gold pickguard, when I opened the package there were two. Am I missing something or did I make out sweet on the deal??

Anyone else have this happen?

It's a sign from God to buy another guitar for the second pickguard

Seriously i'd return it.
What are you going to do with a spare. When you take it back and explain whats happend your going to have a great reputation around that shop.

And I had the same thought pattern niki...but I bought off the internet and it came from Kansas...Middle of USA and I live in Connecticut....East Coast...so I don't think I'd get credit for the goodwill, prolly return it anyways though

Actually not -- Anything sent to you in error is (by Federal law) yours to keep. That being said, if something is addressed to your neighbor but delivered to you by mistake, that is not yours to keep.

It is at least immoral.

emailed them, it'll be interesting to see what they say. i doubt guitar center cares about 35 dollars but who knows. and if not I believe I'll have to take C's comment into consideration . Gonna have figure out a way to get all the other parts delivered by accident though

Now that they have been notified you surely will have to return it or get charged for it.

I wouldnt be looking for a good rep with a guitar shop 500 miles away either.
Gotta go with Ceri's idea, build a guitar around it.
