How come fender doesn't make any double neck strats?

I know epiphone did a Jimmy Page double neck guitar look-a-like, but if they had a double neck strat I would totally buy it. I wonder why they don't market it.

One day when I have money to spend on it I think I will have the custom shop do a 6/12 string double neck guitar from Fender. It would be nice to have that option while playing; however, it may be a little heavy.

Knew a guy way back in the 70's that had a double neck fender ,he called it a "butterfly"...
it was a cross tween a six string and a bass,as far as I could tell just by looking at it ,it was a real fender .wish I would have taken a few pix of it.only one Ive ever seen,,but if your familiar with the Fender history book put out by Fender you will know that they often made strange instruments as a one off

They tend to be heavy and there is a really limited market for them.
I tried the Gibson double neck and It bothered me after about 2 songs.
It's not worth the way it looks.

My doubleneck Strat weighs 12.55 lbs. Guys who have tried it have all said it's not that bad. I guess they expected it to be much heavier.

The market for them is very limited, I agree.
