so i was at guitar center and this kid had a really cool strat and it wasnt a custom i know for a fact

first off:
-it was a silver color and had no pickguard
-hss config with floydrose double lock
-1 voulme 1 tone
-24 frets but the 24th had three dots instead of two
-and strat headstock

so thats about it

if anyone could give me a name and/or price range that would be kick $@!

THANKS

two questions come to mind:

was this a guitar GC was selling? If so, did you ask them?
If not, did you ask the kid what it was? any ID's on the head stock? Was it a Fender?
Dunno..... there are many odd guitars out there.

Was the plug for a cord like most strats, or not? That single peice of information is vital.

No I think you are mistaken, it's definitely Robot

By the way, I might be in T-dot in a month or so, where should I go look at guitars?

We got a place called Steve's Music on Queen St W (just east of Spadina Ave) it's a small store rammed with guitars.... last time i was there, their selection of Fenders was dismal though. another place is Long & McQuade on Bloor St W (near Ossington St ) it's a much tidier store with a nice selection... those are the two major places, then for a much more intimate store w/ great techs, theres the Twevlth Fret on Danforth Ave (just east of Woodbine Ave) those three are my and a lot of other peoples favourites!!

Good luck and have fun, and if your not in the downtown core and in the surrounding area, the only other place i would recommend would be the Long & McQuade in Brampton on Main St.
