I just bought a Strat that has had a heavy relic job. For some reason, they sanded off the Fender logo on the headstock. It is a SRV neck and you can still see most of the SRV signature at the end of the headstock.

Does anybody know if I can get another Fender logo sticker? I don't think I can stand the way it looks now.

You may be able to get one out of fender, but it will require jumping through several hoops and maybe a tightrope walk aswell. I'd email customer services, its a long shot but about the only chance to get a legitimate one.

Yeah niki is right....use the SEARCH function of this forum and look for "decals".It was being discussed before and i recall a member was so pissed waiting for the decals even though countless photos were sent to Fender.
I hope you're lucky dude to get a replacement...

I wonder why the original decal was sanded off? Such a significant part of the sale value of the instrument resides in that logo...

You are going to have to work to substantiate the authenticity of that guitar before Fender will give you a replacement. See the page belphedeus linked to for how.
