Hi guys! This is Patrick again. I'm very new to the forum so you probably don't know me. lol I have a video here that I thought you guys would appreciate. It's my first YouTube vid. In the video I'm playing my strat through a Super Reverb. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UszMr1T4Bhc

Patrick,

Wow, you have some balls posting a youtube link here!
Some of the guys here really know what they are talking about and I suspect are also very tasty players.
Your tone is very nice - but then it should be! - your rendition is okay, but nothing outstanding. Hats off to you for your temerity and rock on!

Cheers,
E

I don't know if I should take offense by the comment or not. lol Are you saying I'm not worthy to post a video of myself playing? If so, that's kinda lame dude! I figure I have as much right as anyone else to post vids, soundclips, etc. Thanks for your reply anyways. Even though you didn't seem to enjoy it. lol I'm not a professional and I'm not trying to show off. Just thought a Fender forum would appreciate this vid. Everybody's got to start somewhere right?

Hey Patrick,

I'm sorry if this came across as an insult, it was not meant as such. I only meant that most of us wouldn't have the balls to put vids of themselves on this forum. Well I wouldn't anyway!
However, you are right that anyone can and should feel free to do this, although I don't know if we want the forum taken over by youtube!

Cheers,
E

As the Uncle of two young men, let me be the first to say that Uncle Mark is proud. I'm sure he's letting the guys at work know about HIS nephew.

Keep up the good work...

Thanks alot for all your kind comments guys. I appreciate it because I'm new here and it really makes me feel more welcome. Oh, metlrulz this is my first strat and I can tell you it's awesome. I was always more of a les paul kind of guy, but then came my good friend Mr. Stratocaster. lol Now I'm a les paul/strat man.
