Post subject: Fender Yjm serial no. se9XXXXX are made from custom shop?

I heard a lot of people say that Yjm small headstock serial number

se 9xxxxx made from fender custom shop.and that didn't make in 89 years

at all.As same as my yjm se9xxxxx,on that neck it is made in 94.

I'm new here.Thank for all answer.

SEXXXXXX, SNXXXXXX,SZXXXXXX serial numbers denote Signature Series Instruments. SE9XXXXX denotes an instrument from 89 ( the first ones were in 88. My source says nothing about custom shop(neither for or against.) though.

Yngwie Malmsteen stratocaster, as long as I know, is the first or second signature series by Fender...but I didn't think it was made by Custom Shop
