I love my CP 60 and didn't like the feel of the Hwy 1 that I tried.

But this is very subjective. Try before you buy....

I really think that you get more for your money with the CP 60s than highway one. The pickups in the CP are custom shop designed/ wound. You get very nice classic finishes the 12" radius neck is really interesting to play (solo central baby) and the vintage bridge is a nice touch.

I got the impression when playing it that the MIM machine was built as a look what we can do whereas the MIA was a dulled version of the Standard MIA. Just my opinion mind please don't think I'm saying that they are both great guitars; they are.

You're right though buy what feels/ sounds best to you. If you want classic strat sound and look (mint green pick gaurd!!) for me CP 60 all the way.

the highway one pick ups are custom shop designed/wound with a reverse
middle/grease bucket.

goracing. just go to the specification page under the guitars you are considering and get the info from Fender ,then you can decide which you like, maybe go play them if possible and make your choice. They all have good qualities! Good luck friend! 8) :)

Where is the proof? You forgot the link pal!! No more time wasted on you! You are just like stringbe(who was locked by Brad last night) and highwayoneplayer who was banned from this forum! Tell your opinions to some one who does not know the difference! Not Me Pal!! No more communication with you! Your reputation is spreading ,so keep it up!! How do you explain the links from Fender I listed? Did you even look? Probably not because all you want is to try impressing someone who does not know and is asking for help. That's what we try to do here but every once in a while someone like you appears! Sad!

Hey Fellow Stratheads-

As I understand it (From trying one out and from the HWY One Video)- The New Pick-ups in the Hwy One are designed to take distortion better or in a more modern music sort of way. The Classic 60's is Going for that classic 60's feel and tone. Both are good quality instruments. Hey...the are Fenders...

Now go out there and Play them both till your ears bleed !!!!

Remember...you can always change out the pick-ups if you dont like them!

The Freeze
