I'm new here, so plese bear with me.

I just bougt a 2005 American standard Strat, new. I need to buy strings and, when I asked the guys where I bought it what string guage this guitar had from the factory, and one said it was nines and the other said tens. They feel like nines to me. Is there a standard guage strings these things come with or am I going to have to guess?

Thanks
