I have a 2005 tele, a friend of mine has 2001 strat. Both are block colours.

I've noticed that there might seems to be a slight seam visable under the finish. You can just make it out in the middle of the guitar if you catch the light just right.

So the question is are these guitars one piece alder bodies or two? or three? or four?

My new 08 sunburst strat seems to be 1 unless of course it is very cleaverly laminated.

Their 2 piece, my 08 Strat has an alder body and you can see where the pieces are joined when you look at it good because its the 3 color sunburst. But as long as its not made from plywood don`t worry about it.
